eAt, dRinK anD bE scArY

i've always been a copy cat. i don't really have my own style, my own decorating sense or my own creative ideas. i copy. i copy magazines, stores, friends...anything really. now, one of the good things about moving to another state and making all new friends is that you can take all the fun, cute ideas from your friends in the old city and claim them as your own.

saturday night was a prime example. my bff, annalee (the ultimate creative girl) has for the past three years hosted a pumpkin carving party in austin. it was always a good time for everyone so i decided to copy the idea and host my very own pcp.

clay and i have been blessed to find a fabulous church home here in kc. about 6 weeks ago, we joined a small group and it has blessed us so much. we have really clicked with our group and are enjoying the blessings of community. and thus, our small group became the guinea pigs for our very first pumpkin carving party. it was quite a success, if i do say so myself.

i think the party was a success. it was so fun to have people over and to enjoy fall weather and festivities.
