2009 was a stellar year. it came and went quite quickly and it brought several big changes for our little family.
just a few of my favorite moments of 2009...

the BLAB came to visit kansas city!

the assunto's came to visit! we always love all out of town visitors.

we bought our first house and this fabulous group of friends (plus many more) helped us move and get settled in.
apRiL
we decided we needed a dog! so lucy joined our family. i don't know what we were thinking.

we celebrated our first year of marriage in st. louis and found out on our anniversary that we would soon be adding another new member to our family!
juNe
we married off the second member of the BLAB, angie. the BLAB has now changed from BFAB to BFAT. what will happen to us next?
jULyclay and i headed to florida for our first chance to see this cutie, our newest nephew max.
aUguSt
we celebrated one last "official" small group dinner with friends that came to mean so much to us over the past year. these friends have and continue to share life with us daily.

one of our many nights out to dinner with clay's family. these times became extra special as the warm weather drew to an end. nana and papa made their way back to texas and jordan moved to chicago. we love when they are all here in town and we get to have regular dinners.

our month of travel. we went to abilene for our first baby shower and here we are in santa fe with our friends, the phelps.

my wonderful friends in kansas city threw me an out of this world baby shower.

my parents and bryan came to visit and we celebrated a snowy christmas with both of our families in kansas city!
i continue to be amazed at the blessings the Lord brings me from year to year. 2009 brought so much of God's goodness into our lives. i cannot wait to see what 2010 brings.

I love that you found out on your anniversary that you were pregnant! What a great year you are going to have in 2010 meeting your little miss!

P.S. I know Angie, actually. I went to Sam Houston and she was our Phi Lamb advisor. I also know Trey quite well, too! We all went to the same church. Small world. :)
