miss amelia ann is 6 months old!

1/2  a year.

i can't believe it.

she is a doll of a baby

and we love her immensely.

weight...15 pounds 4 ounces...40th percentile
length...25 3/4 inches...45th percentile
head circumference...17 inches...75th percentile

sKillS

*sitting up...we don't leave her on her own, but she can sit up for awhile.

*scooting...she gets up on all fours, rocks back and forth and then falls on her belly and scoots. she looks very determined and seems to be able to get most of what she wants. she also scoots in circles over and over again. i have a feeling she will be crawling in a few weeks.

*eating...she finally got the hang of baby food. she has had rice cereal, bananas and sweet potatoes and peas.

*sleeping...i stopped nursing right at 6 months. she is now taking four 8 ounce bottles a day. she is sleeping 12 to 13 hours at night. almost every night she wakes up and cries for 5-30 minutes. i'm not sure this girl will ever sleep all night consistently without a peep! she is taking 2-3 naps a day anywhere from 1 to 3 hours.

*she loves...her sister, grabbing at anything and everything, babbling, the raspberry sound, scooting, swinging, her paci.
