biG giRL RooM

we moved leighton into a big girl room right before her birthday.

yes, that was a long time ago.

every day leighton seems more and more like a big girl.

she is growing up before my eyes.

dang it.

stop growing up leighton.

you're such a cute little girl.

here's the big girl room

for the big girl.

it's pretty much a hodge podge of stuff i already had

or stuff i found at ikea or estate sales.

rug: pottery barn kids {it was in the nursery, i just moved it to her room}

bed, dresser and curtains: ikea

bedding: anthropologie {a long time ago}

random stuff i collected.

how about those cute duck bookends?

i scored those for $5 at an estate sale and then spray painted them white.

prints: i don't really remember...i think the ABC one is from jami's blog

anyways, i printed them both for free from the interwebs.

hooks: anthropologie {also from a long time ago}

clothes: {the dress on the left was mine when i was a baby, the middle outfit was leighton's coming home outfit}

and the big girl waking up for the first time in her big bed.

she did so well. 

she slept all night and has only gotten up one time in the 3 months she's been in her big bed.

we have been amazed!
