shall i start with the title of my blog? i'm sure you are curious. is it because i love KFC? no, i actually have had a long standing hate for this fast food chain because of a bad experience on a family vaca many, many years ago. as we were planning the wedding and doing all the fun stationary stuff, clay and i noticed that we had unfortunate initials...

so, we ended up avoiding the monogram altogether or going against tradition and putting his initial first...cFk. however, it became somewhat of a joke and provided a few good laughs.
while talking with some friends one day about our move, they were encouraging me to start a blog so they could keep up with our very exciting life in kansas city. we were brainstorming names and leave it to mr. evan mccord...he thought of "finger lickin' good". of course it was a hit.
so there you have it...the reason for the name of my long awaited and, i'm sure, highly anticipated blog.
