tHe bEsTiE wEeK oF SumMeR

this past week, my bestie came to visit.
annalee, adelaide & graham arrived on monday to hang out with us for the week
and evan joined us thursday night for some weekend fun.
as usual, our time with the mccords did not disappoint.
here's a little run down of our fabulous week.

tUesDaY
we spent most of the day just hanging out and playing.
annalee & i did some serious crafting after the kids went to bed.
we have quite the history of crafting...one wild & crazy college spring break may have included the making of windsocks.
don't be jealous...we can give you the tutorial if you really want to know.
weDneSdaY
we enjoyed lunch & shopping at the plaza.
and of course had some more play time at the house.
i mean, how cute are these girls?
graham charmed the ladies with his smile & his drool.
tHurSdAy
we had a lovely outing to deana rose farmstead.
my friend heather & her daughter joined us for the fun.
arle & adelaide became instant friends after some goat feeding bonding.
graham & leighton continued their budding relationship with some stroller time.
fRidaY
the dad's spent some quality couch time working from home and watching soccer.
we had a little pool time.
and enjoyed a delicious pioneer woman dinner.
sAtuRdaY
we attempted to attend a sidewalk chalk art festival, but a lovely summer storm blew in so we spent some time inside crown center doing a little window shopping.
that night, we had some delicious kc bbq and played a mean game of "remember when".
5 years of couple friendship makes for lots of funny remember whens.
sUndAy
we went to church and then celebrated these two fabulous fathers with some blanc burgers.
annalee has blessed my life for the past 19 years.
the mccords have blessed the fulghums for the past 5 years.
i can't wait to watch adelaide, graham, leighton & future babies bless each others lives for years to come.

So glad for the wonderful week you had with Annalee and her two, and Evan too when he came. My, what a beautiful table you now have. I know you enjoy it, with placemats and all. Yes, friendships are one of our special blessings God allows us to enjoy. Hope you have a good week and know we love you 3.

what great timing we have, i was just writing about the oh-so-fabulous week too.

you win for most creative title. were you on yearbook staff once upon a time? i noticed you have a way with words.

glad to see gran appreciates placemats as much as i do.

ps- i cannot give tutorials on crafting because i usually end up having you or my mom finish all projects i start. however i can give tutorials on having ridiculously good posture while crafting.

You guys are so cute. Still bummed I didn't get to join in on the party... and I can't believe you cheated on me and had a craft date with Annalee! :) Just kidding. Glad they could come visit!

And on a side note: You two are skinny minnies, I need to learn to craft like you two, and which recipe did you make from pioneer woman??
