4 months old!
i just can't believe it.
leighton is more fun than ever.
she laughs and squeals and smiles all the time.
i lOvE every second of it!
here's a bit of what goes on in the house of a 4 month old.
sTatS
weight...12 pounds 10 ounces...40th percentile
length...25 inches...75th percentile
head...16 inches...50th percentile
sKiLLs
*squealing...oh my word. it is out of control. so hilarious!
*talking...she will make the funniest noises. it totally sounds like she's carrying on a conversation with you.
*hand control...she is getting better and better at grabbing things, shaking them, looking at them and bringing them to her mouth. i can't wait until she can pick up her pacifier by herself!
*standing...she loves to stand up when you hold her.
*rolling over...she has long ago mastered tummy to back and is oh so close to getting back to tummy. she can get on her side, but can't get that arm out of the way!
*grabbing her feet...this just started and is so cute.

*sleeping...girlfriend still doesn't sleep through the night. the doc says her metabolism is stable enough that she can...so we will definitely be working on that this month.
*schedule...we finally decided to kind of "force" a schedule around here. get her up at a certain time and put her to bed earlier. the three naps a day are killing me. i feel like i'm confined to the house! she no longer sleeps anywhere, anytime. i've been telling people that the babymoon is officially over. i guess this is what it's like to be a parent!
oh how we love miss leighton gale!
and are continually thankful for her.
*standing...she loves to stand up when you hold her.

she is getting big. can't believe it's been 4 months.
waking up at night gets really old. ha. taking out a nap should help...you're on the right track!

What a happy baby! The sleeping was sporadic at that age for us too. Then, one day, it just clicked and got a ton better. She could not be cuter, Kristin! Sounds like you are great momma!
That pic is fabulous. Love her! I was so thrilled that she let me hold her for so long this morning. :)
She is such a precious joy and more fun each day ( easy for me to say), but I mean it and you know it's true!!!

I cannot believe it was 4 months ago that Annalee and fam were at our house giving us the play by play!! She is so sweet and I love her in yellow!
