excuse me.

did you know that i live with a seven month old?

well, it's true.

our little, tiny baby is seven months old

and so stinkin' adorable

if i do say so myself.

here's a little of what's been going on with

the seven month old.

staTs

weight...15 lbs. 13 oz...30th percentile

height...27 in...75th percentile

sKiLLs

*crawling...she's been crawling since the beginning of this month. it is so fun, but yikes...if i turn my back for a second she's chewing on my flip flop or playing in lucy's water bowl or something equally disgusting.

*pulling up...leighton loves to do this! pretty much every time we get her up from her crib she is standing up smiling at us. 

*eating...as far as breast milk/formula go, she's never been much of an eater...hence the 30th percentile. but boy does she love solid foods! she will eat whatever we put in her mouth. some of the new things she's tried lately include, watermelon, hummus, sweet potato fries, peas, pears, banana, yogurt, prunes, applesauce. she makes the funniest "mmm" noise while she's eating...almost like she's saying yum.

*holding her bottle...i never even thought to try this, but clay did and sure enough, she can hold it all by herself. such a big kid!

*sleeping...still a champ. 12-13 hours at night. 2-3 naps during the day.

*separation anxiety...oh jeez this is annoying.  i think it's getting a little better...she has made it in the church nursery the past 3 weeks! 

*stranger danger...seriously, the lady at costco starting talking to her the other day and you would have thought someone stole her pacifier. poor lady felt so bad.

oh do we love our little leighton.

she is such a joy to be around and seriously makes us laugh constantly.

i'm just going to put it out there.

this is the best age!
