miss leighton gale is 10 months old.

and makes us smile all the time!

*climbing...she has been climbing on top of and over everything and anything she can.
*bye bye...she waves and says ba ba. not on command of course and usually about 2 minutes after someone has left.
*church nursery...finally doing well. only a tiny bit of crying now!
*throwing...clay taught her how to throw a ball. it always gets thrown behind her, but it's pretty cute.
*peek a boo...she loves to play peek a boo over the back of the couch.
*one hand walking...she will sometimes walk while holding on to one hand and she stands on her own quite a bit. i keep thinking we're getting close to walking, but who knows!

*obeying...she is a stubborn, headstrong little lady!!
*eating...she is becoming more and more picky. girlfriend loves her carbs, just like her momma!
*eating time...when you combine the pickiness with throwing food and pulling off her bib, dinnertime is not my favorite time of the day!

she seriously makes every day so much fun.

She is so close to being one year old. How did that happen?
Amelia has never worn a bib - because she too has a problem with obedience. I finally just gave up months ago. And boughts stock in Spray-n-Wash.
Your little Leighton would get along well with my Amelia. They could climb on the couch, play peek-a-boo, throw balls at each other, and then top of their day with a lunch of french fries. And when finished, they could just throw the ones they don't want on the floor.

Happy Birthday, 10 month old. You are getting to be such a big girl. How much fun we are going to have when you all are in Abilene for Christmas. Can hardly wait! Just know we love you and thanks for all the info in this blog, Kristin. It helps us to keep up with this growing girl. Maybe she will walk while in Abilene.
