four years ago today
clay and i went on our first date.
to eat indian food.
i know, clay wasn't a very good texan.
obviously he did not understand the true importance of cinco de mayo...
margaritas and queso.
*this picture is not actually from our first date.
it's a week later.
my how our lives have changed in four years.
a wedding
a new state
a new house
new jobs
a dog
a little girl
no more dog
and another little baby on the way.
it's been an amazing four years.
today,
we won't really celebrate anything special.
but sometimes it's fun to put on a party dress anyways.
so, from our family to yours,
happy cinco de mayo.

ADORABLE dress!!!!! happy cinco de mayo to you miss L!
leighton looks good in that cinco-de-mayo dress...it's fits her dark complextion well. don't worry, i had to dictionary.com 'complextion to see if i spelled it right...you can use an "x" or a "c". i decided to go with the "x" since it's add some flair. when do you find out what you're having? we find out in two week sucker.
And a Happy Cinco de Mayo to you too. Leighton looks adorable in her little Mexican dress. Where did you find one so small? Your mom told me that we are finding our about baby no. 2 tomorrow. Look forward to hearing from you. Are you rested from you Florida trip yet?
Sorry for the error. I meant out rather than our. Forgive.
Duh! Why didn't we go for mexican food instead of einsteins??!
and i LOVE L's dress!!
indian food? LOL.
your daughter looks mexican, auj is right.
both of these pics bring a smile to my face.
the first one- i remember sitting across from you two freshly dating jokers when that picture was taken. one of the happiest days of my life. mostly because you and clay were finnnnnnalllly dating (and the fact that i took a positive pregnancy test the day before made it a pretty good day too).
the second one- if i was lei's best friend i would totally tell people her dad was hispanic and that's why she was tanner than me. baby girl has some seriously perfect coloring.
