oh my
oh me.
i'm 26 weeks pregnant.
things really are going well.
is it weird that i'm glad i'm almost to my third trimester?
we really haven't started doing anything yet.
since this little one is a girl
we're pretty well set up.
there are of course a few things we need to get before she's born
but i just don't feel the urgency this time around that i did with the first.
i probably should get my booty into gear
seeing as how it's almost july
and then comes august.
and you know what comes after that.
september!
i have had people ask if leighton has any idea what's coming her way.
that is a most definite no.
she does really like to say baby
and she's been cuddling her baby dolls lately.
today she also started patting my tummy.
it's like she just realized that it was sticking out more than normal.
silly girl.
anyone have any good advice of anything we should do to get leighton ready for a baby?

seeing as how I have zero children, I have no advice for you. however, I will comment that you are looking mighty fine! As in almost every post, I will also say that I am super excited to see you in a few weeks...especially preggo!
look at that freakin' belly! love it! dude, i haven't done anything and i have to make space in the closet for a GIRL. i'm relying on penelope's old clothes to hook me up. is that bad?

you look beautiful! and all i would say is making sure that leighton knows she is still super important, letting her kiss your belly and the new baby when she comes, big sis books. i also let the boys make shirts for themselves and the new baby, they loved that, but wait till a few weeks before your due date. i have heard that kids under two dont really understand it much, so waiting till closer to her due date before she understands is ok! so excited for you!

i didn't think there was much i could do beforehand to prep a. mostly, the prep was for after we brought g home. i had a few crafts to do just with her while he napped, she would snuggle up with us while i fed him and i had fave books set aside to read her then, etc.
I like reading your updates because they remind me what week we're at :). Is that terrible that I have to rely on you to remember? Thanks! :)

You continue to look beautiful to me. Don't worry about Lei Lei; she will be just fine. Just give her lots of love along the way. Yes, Sept. will be here before we know it. Good...maybe our 3 digit temps will be over. They are about to kill us all. Ugh. Love to Clay and Leighton too.
