i actually can believe it.
it's been two long months!!
things are beginning to look up around here.
less crying.
more smiling.

*smiling...oh how a smile makes all the difference. it's just too cute for words.
*not crying...hooray! finally the past week or two weeks have been much quieter in our house.
*falling asleep...finally we can lay her down awake and she falls asleep on her own.
*bedtime...we started putting her to bed around 7 after she eats. oh glorious evenings. it's so nice to have you back!
*strong neck...miss amelia has such a strong neck. she can hold her head up pretty darn well.

*sleeping...she doesn't give me very long stretches at night. 3 or 4 hours usually. but considering there were a lot of nights that she was waking up every 2 hours, i'll take this!

i finally feel like i'm starting to enjoy you {i know that's kind of sad...just being honest.}
it's so fun that you recognize your mommy.
i love to just sit and hold you and look at your smiley face.

Love this post! I'm seeing a more content Amelia myself and feel ready for more Amelia bonding time. We have loved our Leighton time over the last few months so much, too!

What a cutie! I am so relating with you. Ryder only wants to have about 2 hours in between feedings, and that makes for some long nights (as you know). Also, I completely agree with your earlier post where you mentioned that going from 1 to 2 kids is hard. It is SO hard! You sound like you are doing great.
