LeiGhtoN: tWo wEeKs oLd

leighton is two weeks old.

i seriously could not ask for a better baby.

she is so content.

she is sleeping longer stretches most nights.

which is fantastic for her mama.

granted, she sleeps in her carseat

propped up in her pack and play

in our room.

but hey,

at least she's sleeping.

we can't quite get a schedule going yet.

she's a little unpredictable with her waketime and her napping.

this whole parenting thing is difficult.

i feel like i question everything i do.

am i doing what's best for leighton?

if i let her sleep too long, will it mess up the rest of the day?

should i give her a pacifier or not?

should she wear a pink bow or a white one?

all kinds of questions.

i really need to do a better job of chilling out

and trusting that the Lord is sovereign.
